Much of my career has been spent as a soft goods technical designer. Technical designers are the liaison between product designers and factories, figuring out how to execute complex designs, taking them from dream to reality. This challenging work includes:

•Creating physical prototypes of products, sometimes from nothing but a sketch

•Drafting flat patterns

•Creating production documents for factories

•Working with factories to perfect execution of the final product.
